Former Professor Emeritus and one-time chair of the Alchemic Research Department at Albast’s Collegium Arcanum, he retired after a tragic incident involving a former student and set up shop selling alchemical substances in Sylmore. He was later approached by a “Mr. Alen” and recruited to undertake research on dreamstone—a legendary energy source that allegedly fueled the magical technology of the ancient Asirian Empire, before the Reckoning.

He has been declared dead by the Sylmore Watch; his great-niece, Lucille Fletcher, is currently the City Watch’s primary suspect.
